Chemical Peels
AHA peels essentially work by exfoliating the skin. They loosen and remove the layer of dead cells (keratinocytes) on the skin’s surface (the stratum corneum), thus revealing the smoother, healthier-looking layer below. Regular treatments can help with fine lines, brown marks and dry spots (solar keratoses). They also can help minimize acne scarring–and even help with the treatment of acne by stripping away the plugs where acne bumps can form. AHA peels can be done not only on the face, but on the neck, chest, arms and hands.

DermaPen Microneedling
Dermapen is the industry-leading device trusted worldwide.Combining innovation, science, and precision engineering, Dermapen sets the standard for safe, effective, and results-driven skin rejuvenation. Dermapen is recommended to treat: Aged, sagging skin, fine lines & wrinkle, smoker’s lines around the lips, skin tightening and rejuvenation, reducing large pores, improving stretch marks and scars. For optimal results we recommend a period of effective active treatment creams such as Vitamin A, C or Resveratrol & Procyanidin to allow the skin’s strength to build up (especially the thin and delicate skin areas). Continue to use these recommended solutions after the treatments for a period of 6 weeks. Typically, you will see results after the first treatment. Lasting and more significant results will occur after 4 – 6 treatments (spaced 4-6 weeks apart). Your skin will continue to improve over the next 6-12 months after a course of treatments and when combined with the recommended post treatment care. Treatments are not painful as a numbing cream is applied to the treated area before the time. Generally there is no down time but you may experience facial redness for 12-48 hours after the treatment. Most people return to normal daily activities after the treatment. An application of breathable camouflage will seal the skin and cover any redness to return to work immediately. Space filler treatments at least 4 days between treatments. Do Botox after the Dermapen on the day if needed. We have a variety of serums at Ageless Faces to choose from, according to your need to enhance the outcome of the treatment. This will be used in the treatment. We’ll recommend a post treatment cream and Spf for aftercare. Home care is also recommended for better results.

Microdermabrasion
Microdermabrasion softens fine lines and wrinkles, helps to smooth coarsely textured skin, decreases the appearance of scarring, decreases pore size, and reduces superficial hyper-pigmentation, also known as age spots. Microdermabrasion also makes it easier for high-tech skin care products to penetrate into the deeper layers of the skin and help build collagen, which gives skin its youthful appearance. Microdermabrasion is essentially powerful mechanical exfoliation with an expensive machine, generally either the original crystal microdermabrasion technology or the newer diamond-tip microdermabrasion. Both work by removing the uppermost layer of dead skin cells from the face, chest and hands. True microdermabrasion is usually done in a medical spa or specialized skin care clinic. It gives results you can’t achieve with a home microdermabrasion kit, which is basically a scrub for the face that is often too abrasive and can even irritate the skin. The original microdermabrasion technology, which has been around since the ’80s, is called crystal microdermabrasion. Growing in popularity is the newer diamond-tip microdermabrasion. It achieves the same results but with less discomfort and without the crystal residue at the end of the treatment. Microdermabrasion can achieve dramatic results, but it is highly dependent on the skill of the aesthetician. In general, it’s best if you get it from an aesthetician you already know and trust. For the best results, it is generally recommended get a series of treatments. Your aesthetician should be able to recommend the number that is appropriate for your skin type and condition. A typical protocol is six treatments about 10 to 14 days apart.

PRP ("Vampire Facial")
MyCells® is a new, autologous process (your own plasma) which provides skin rejuvenation and increased fullness to offer you natural, long lasting improvement both on the surface and the deeper area of the skin. The plasma is rich in stem cells and growth factors. This treatment stimulates the fibroblasts which helps with the increase in collagen. We would classify Mycells® treatment as a dermal treatment (deep dermal treatment). MyCells® have received FDA approval for orthopaedic indications in 2009.

Dermaplaning
Dermaplaning is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure for your skin. Your healthcare provider uses a special instrument to shave away the uppermost layers of your skin. Dermaplaning can help reduce the appearance of acne scars or other skin imperfections by revealing newer, undamaged skin. It can make your skin look younger; though, it doesn’t stop the aging process. Some people also get dermaplaning for hair removal. This is only a temporary fix because your hair will grow back. Most people get the procedure on their face, but you can do it anywhere on your body. Dermaplaning vs. shaving Dermaplaning and shaving can both be used to remove unwanted hair growth. If removing hair is your singular concern, shaving is an option. But shaving only cuts hair at the skin level and should not remove any layers of skin. If you’re hoping to improve the overall appearance of your skin, dermaplaning will also exfoliate your skin, removing dead skin cells.
